Now that you've went out and bought yourself a recording DAW and a couple of other pieces of gear to start
the process of recording your own music from the comfort of your home. The question you need to ask is, do I really know what I'm doing? All the YouTube videos on the subject won't go into all the background knowledge and detail needed to produce music that doesn't sound like it was recorded in a basement or some spare bedroom.
I get requests to master many projects from home enthusiasts only to return their files because of how poorly recorded the music is and unfortunately I have to tell them the best mastering in the world won't help.
Shorten your learning curve by months if not years and let me take you from A to Z on how this is done.
100% Hands On Experience !
It doesn't matter what platform you are using (Pro Tools, Sonar, Cubase etc...)
You will focus on those techniques for properly capturing and mixing to produce great sounding music.
I am offering the Pittsbugh Recording Workshop - Located In Heidelberg, Pa.

All knowledge learned will be applied on real mixing projects. Bring in your home recorded tracks to learn how to mix them and we can analyze them to find how you can improve.
Don't sweat it if you only have minimal gear in your home studio. There will be a thorough concentration on the techniques and knowledge that you would need to know that can be applied and utilized with great success with whatever gear you have. Compressors are compressors and limiters are limiters and parametric eq's are parametric eq's but the understanding of how they are creatively used and applied in tracking and mixing makes all the difference.
As part of the total Workshop experience I will also offer sound treatment consultation for your home based recording space. It really comes down to monitoring and your environment for hearing things correctly. There are many cost effective ways to make sure you are setting yourself up for the best possible results. I can help you with that.
The Recording Workshop Fee is $295 and must be paid in advance prior to one on one scheduling.
Sign up today and let's get you going!
If you wish to split the fee with a fellow band mate or recording partner that's fine but both of you will need to attend both sessions.
